Stephanie M. Cologna

Stephanie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).  She received her Ph.D. in 2010 under the mentorship fo David H. Russell at Texas A&M University.  Following doctoral studies, she carried out postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health with Alfred L. Yergey III and Forbes D. Porter.  Stephanie's laboratory at UIC is focused on mass spectrometry-based proteomics and lipidomics.  Specifically, her laboratory seeks to develop new tools and to investigate mechanisms involved in neurodegeneration.
