Chuna Choudhary

Dr. Chuna Choudhary is a professor and group leader at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. He carried out his doctoral studies at the University of Muenster in Germany and his postdoctoral training at the same university as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Munich, Germany. His laboratory is interested in studying posttranslational modification-based cell signaling networks using quantitative mass spectrometry-based approaches. In particular, his group combines quantitative proteomics with cell and molecular biology approaches to investigate the dynamics and functions of lysine acetylation and ubiquitylation in cellular signaling networks. In addition, his group combines the latest genome editing technologies and proximity-based proteomics to study signaling networks of endogenously expressed proteins. Dr. Choudhary has widely published in high-ranked journals and received several honors and awards, including the Eliteforsk prize, the EMBO Young Investigator award, and the ERC Consolidator grant.
