Danni Li
Danni Li, PhD, DABCC (Diplomat of American Board of Clinical Chemistry), is the Director of Clinical Chemistry at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview and an Associate Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Dr. Li earned a Bachelor Science in Chemistry from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China in 2002 and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Minnesota in 2007. She completed the Clinical Chemistry Fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins University in 2009. Dr. Li has authored over 30 peer-reviewed research articles, peer-reviewed review articles, editorial, case reports, and book chapters. Dr. Li has made significant progress in her independent research program in the field of Alzheimer’s disease. Her research primarily focuses on identifying biofluid-based biomarkers for predicting the onset of Alzheimer’s disease and/or treatment responses using cutting-edge methods such as proteomics and metabolomics (funded by the United State National Institute of Health R01AG059654, R21AG059068, and R21AG061372).
