Peter Nilsson
Peter Nilsson is a Professor in Proteomics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology at SciLifeLab in Stockholm, Sweden. He received his PhD degree in Biotechnology from KTH in 1998. Since 2003, he is the head of the Protein array group within the Human Protein Atlas and the director of the SciLifeLab Autoimmunity Profiling facility since 2013. He is also the KTH SciLifeLab Scientific Director and Head of the Division of Affinity Proteomics at the Department of Protein Science. The research focus is on neuroproteomics and autoimmunity profiling through the development and utilization of various microarray technologies for the profiling of proteins and autoantibody repertoires in plasma, serum and CSF for biomarker discovery applications.
